- Cognitive Radio Networks have capability of learning and adopting, with these two key features it enables user for using frequency spectrum efficiently. Now a day’s Air-ground communication is an important element of National Airspace System. It is not efficiently using the spectrum. With the increasing use of frequency for air-ground communication, the demand of efficiently use of the spectrum has increased. Today’s spectrum assignment creates inefficient use of frequency. Regardless of whether a channel is occupied, it is permanently assigned to the particular organizations and to particular geographical area. The emerging Cognitive Radio (CR) technology provides the chance to address this static allocation of spectrum issue by providing a more flexible approach for updating the legacy of air-ground radio system.
