Preparation Radioactive Particle Technique Used To Track the Motion of Oil Phase in High Pressure Tank

Abbas Ali Mahmood Karwi
Method of work using CARPT setup. CARPT technique has been used to understand the effect of oil circulation flow pattern parameters. The aim of this study is to find the effect of solid angle, radial locations, and detector arrangements on particle intensity and velocity. Calibration processes will allow full automation in moving the radioactive particle in radial, axial, and angular directions and provide more accuracy and speed. Results show the effect of detectors arrangement on the standard deviation of resolution and sensitivity, its also show that there is inverse proportion relation between solid angle, detector arrangements on intensity, but there is proportion relation between radial locations and Sc-46 particle velocity. The dose rate of Sc-46 is detected. Resolution and sensitivity of detectors through operation around steel oil tank studied.
