Misbehave user Detection in Mobile Ad-Hoc Network using OPNET Simulator

Mobile ad hoc network is become popular in last decade as its capability of self-organisation. MANET provides facility to any host to connect network directly. MANET has dynamic topology with movable nodes in random manner. So users prefer such network where infrastructure network is not available. But with attractive features MANET can only works within co-operative environment if any node refuses to co-operate with other nodes so whole network fails. Many users want to save its resources like battery power, processing and capability for only their personal use hence such nodes become misbehaving in nature and not co-operate do selfish activities. Lots of methods have been analyse by various authors and modified to detect misbehaving node from MANET. Most of them work on pre-defined values to work and all other calculation based only on these values. But the dynamic nature of MANET makes hard to get exact measurement of nodes. This paper gives automatic trust mechanism for MANET this method uses machine learning to detect nodes are whether malicious or not. Also introduced new algorithmic rule for management system in Ad-hoc networks within opnet simulator environment.
